Wild Kinship
An intergenerational nature walk series in Vernon, BC.
Wild Kinship is a simple idea: gather people on the trails around Vernon, slow down, and actually connect — to the land, to each other, to ourselves. No agenda beyond showing up and being real.
Eight-week programs blend guided walks, skill-sharing, and facilitated conversation. Each gathering opens at the trailhead, moves through the land with curiosity as the guide, and closes with reflection. Topics rotate weekly — from local history to navigating transitions, phone photography to self care. Topics are also selected by the group.

I'm Clara, the consultant behind Signal & Spark. I love learning, connecting, and digging for answers that help organizations move forward. My work blends careful listening, clear methods, and a deep respect for the people and places I serve.
I started Signal & Spark because I believe simple, grounded research can help small organizations do better work—and because I think we all need more connection, not less. One of my favorite projects started as mystery shopping and turned into a competitive analysis that shifted the client's pricing and grant strategy. That's how I work: I notice what others miss, ask better questions, and find the insight that matters.
But Signal & Spark is about more than research.
There's something most of us are quietly hungry for — a sense of becoming, of belonging, of being genuinely seen. Not for lack of people, but for lack of real connection. Wild Kinship is my response to that.
